I’ll never be your hero

One of my favourite books at the moment it’s called “Nunca seré tu héroe” (I will never be you hero) by María Menéndez Ponte, a presently famous writer.

The Reading turns out to me very amusing, because it tells the youngster life of a boy and he talk about his problems everyday, every daily situation, and I identify with the character. and happy with him.

Andrés, the main character of this story, is a fifteen-year old boy. He doesn’t study anything and he never does his homework. Then, his teachers are really angry with him.

His friends have unhealthy habits, they go out, drink a lot, and they smoke too. His girlfriend left him too. But later he realised that, if he studies and does his homework, he will pass his exams, and her parents will be more tolerant.

If he fights hard to get on in life, his friends will help him and he will be happier with himself.

The book shows you that if you want to change your life you will be a better person.

María Menéndez Ponte writes novels about teenagers’ problems and she has also other books like “El poso amargo del café”, “El dilema de Bea”.
